This Return, Replacement & Refund Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for purchases made through Car Parts Hub.

Car Parts Hub is operated by GreenGears Auto Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

All products are physically located in and fulfilled from our United States facility:

We sell to customers located in the United States and the United Kingdom.


1. Used Parts Disclosure

Unless otherwise stated, all products sold by Car Parts Hub are used OEM automotive parts.

Because items are pre-owned:

  • Normal cosmetic wear may be present

  • Surface marks, scratches, or minor imperfections may occur

  • Appearance may vary slightly from listing photos

Cosmetic wear consistent with prior use is not considered a defect.

Customers are responsible for confirming vehicle compatibility prior to purchase.

We strongly recommend:

  • Verifying fitment using your vehicle’s VIN

  • Confirming part numbers before ordering

Compatibility errors resulting from incorrect vehicle information are not considered defective items.


2. Return Eligibility Window

Return or replacement requests must be submitted within:

14 calendar days of confirmed delivery

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible.

All returns require prior authorization.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.


3. Incorrect, Defective, or Not-As-Described Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Incorrect

  • Defective upon delivery

  • Significantly not as described

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Supporting documentation may be required, including:

  • Clear photos

  • Description of the issue

  • Order number

If approved:

  • A replacement (if available) or refund will be issued

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • No restocking fee applies

  • Return shipping costs will be covered if the error is confirmed to be ours


4. Installation & Inspection Notice

Many automotive parts require professional installation to verify proper function.

Returns will not be accepted if the item has been:

  • Damaged due to improper installation

  • Modified or altered

  • Disassembled

  • Used beyond inspection or test fitting

  • Damaged due to misuse or negligence

Electrical components must be properly diagnosed prior to replacement.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.


5. Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns may be accepted if:

  • Requested within 14 days of delivery

  • The item is returned in the same condition as received

  • The item has not been installed or altered

  • All original tags, markings, and identifiers remain intact

For approved change-of-mind returns:

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

  • Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable

  • A reasonable restocking fee may apply (where permitted by law)

Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated during authorization.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return:

  • Items returned without authorization

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Items missing original identification markings

  • Special-order or custom-request parts

  • Freight items damaged after accepted delivery without carrier notation


7. Freight & Oversized Items

Certain items (e.g., engines, transmissions, subframes) may ship via freight.

Upon delivery:

  • Customers must inspect the shipment before signing

  • Visible damage must be noted with the carrier

  • Failure to document freight damage at delivery may affect claim eligibility


8. Return Shipping & Cross-Border Orders

All products are fulfilled from the United States.

For U.S. customers:
Returns must be shipped to the designated U.S. return address provided during authorization.

For UK customers:
Returns must also be shipped to the designated U.S. return address unless otherwise instructed.

Customers are responsible for any applicable return shipping costs unless the return is due to seller error.

Any customs duties, brokerage fees, or import charges related to return shipments are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.


9. Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund


10. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights that customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws in their jurisdiction.
